Microsoft VISTA nightmare or fantasy?

Going on 48 hrs of VISTA hell. Half my programs are not supported, My ATI TV card is not supportted no driver for vista, my new logitech web cam no drivers for vista not supported, My creative live 5.1 sound card and media interface not supported by vista, 80% of my downloaded saved music wont play because now mw media player checks online for a license and most downloaded music dont have it so it wont play on your computer, Every single install requires you to accept the install, The system is so tight and protective that installations, downloads, surfing, everything requires you to accept and verify. I got a real fancy looking interface and a major degraded performance. Out of a 1.256 gig of memory, the system uses 800megs of system memory leaving me only 356 megs of available memory. CORE operations, When I open internet explorer for example it open the page I requested plus a microsoft page. Before you buy VISTA, ask why do i want all this pain for a pretty interface?

on some systems Vista has been shown to be a pain.I to advise people to either get a Vista ready machine and start from scratch or be ready to have some challenges. If your system is working and doing what you want it to do. You might want to leave it alone. "If it aint broke don't fix it". IF you have to get the latest greatest then like all new things there will be and are lots of bugs to be worked out. If all else fails and you need your computer working again let me know I can help ya.
