I received a .doc file from my friend but it had the hidden extention .scr or something and my pc slowed down for awhile and then is creating Microsoft Word Document on the desktop, and whenever i delete it, it comes back? Help? my anti viruses are not picking up on anything. in my documents there are 2 recurring folders ''Rated R pics'', ''my folder'' that have nothing inside of them... Infected folders creates .exe on .jpg and it is hidden.

Norton has a free virus scan that is done on-line.

Click on it and it will give you two options, a firewall scan and the virus scan. Click on the virus scan. It will download a software file to your system and the virus deffinitions. You have to click yes for thes to be downloaded. Run the scan see if it removes the infection. If it doesn't, find the name of the virus and then go to the Norton security response website http://www.symantec.com/enterprise/secur... then search for a removal too for that virus.
