Microsoft Word Version 12, blue page?

Ok, my whole background is blue in my Microsoft Word and I can't seem to change it's color back to white. I don't know what made it turn blue.

I don't have Office 2007, but this was an option in Word XP (2002) that might carry over:

1. Click on the Tools-%26gt;Options menu item.

2. Click the General tab.

3. The check box Blue Background White Text is probably selected. Uncheck it.

4. Click OK.

That should do it.

Historical note: The very early PC word processors, such as WordStar, had this color scheme. This was a technique MS used to ease the transition to a real GUI.
