Microsoft Word is gone?

My microsoft word is all gone on my computer. It says its not downloaded or something.Plus I have a report due this friday that has to be typed.

Did run a search for the program? the short cut may have gotton lost, this happens sometimes.

Click ''start'' bottom left of your screen

Click ''search''

Click ''all files and folders''

Type ''word''

Click ''search''

If it finds it...right click the icon and click ''create short cut''.

Drag the short cut to where you want it like the ''desktop'' or youir quick lunch tab.

If that doesn't work you will have to post more info for us to help you.

It is possible that just the shortcut Icon has been remove or changed.

click Start, then Run.

In the Run box, type winword

click OK

If MS Word starts, then you desktop shortcut has been removed or changed and is no longer pointing to the correct program. However MS word is still installed.

You can email me if you need instructions on how to fix your shortcut.
I have no idea where your Word is, but you could use Google Docs to write it.

And just to check things, go to: start -%26gt; run -%26gt; type msword -%26gt; press enter.

if word doesn't comes up, then it was removed from your computer.
