Microsoft office??

i have microsoft office 2003 installed on my computer but now everytime i try to open it it says fatal error durring installation then at the top in the box it says problem with shortcut. Does anyone know what i can do to fix this?

try removing it and then reinstall everything on the setup disk that may solve it or it may be an illegal copy and microsoft must have found out about it and may Track you down and send you to prison !

delete the shortcut from your desktop

and create a new one
you need to uninstal ms office from the add.remove programs in control panel.

then you have to download a windows uninstaller program that gets rid of office left overs in the registry.

then you can install office again from the disks

click office on the lhs column.

type in fatal error in the search

look at the 2nd and 3rd result. It doesnt matter that the error isnt exactly the same as yours, closest one is ok.
Reinstall Office.

Go to control panel 鈻?Add/Remove Programs

Find Office.

Run the installer and select [Repair/Modify].
open the program from program file if it works the you only need to delete the shortcut from your desktop

and create a new one
