when i copy copy something from the internet and paste it onto microsoft office 2007, when i print it out, the background of the typing is blue, can i get rid of that?

You are not just copying just text, you are copying part of a web page.
One way round this is to paste it into Notepad. You will only get the text. Then highlight and copy the text and paste it into Word.
