You can go on Microsoft site download a trial version
Since you're in college you can probably get MS Office at a discount. Many colleges/universities offer software, particularly Adobe and Microsoft software, to students at cheap discounts. It can be as much as 75% off. Check with your school's bookstore or IT department to see if there are any student discounts for software available that you can take advantage of. And for what it's worth, many hardware manufacturers, including Dell, Gateway and Apple, also offer student discounts.
go through search theres a lot of websites that offer free downloads for word 2003 2007 may be harder to find being it's a fairly new release
Just search Microsoft office free trial and you'll pull up a bunch of trial offers.
Tell you what, you will not find a 2003 copy. But if you will get the 2007 version, when you save files, you can tell it to save as a 2003 version.

So get the freecopy, and you can also get the Compatability for 2003 on the microsoft download.
