I tried going into safe mode when i had the Microsoft BSoD, but before it can boot up to the desktop, the BSoD appeared again. So, can anyone has an alternatively solution to gain access to my desktop. I really hate to format and reinstall the computer.

Try choosing safe mode with command prompt and then run chkdsk /r. FYI - a lot of BsOD's are hardware problems caused by bad memory. You may want to take out memory banks one at a time to make sure it isn't memory gone bad.

Depending on the PC you have you will want to go into setup for the bios. This is done by either pressing the delete key or the esc key during the startup. You want to find the device startup order option and make sure the first device is the CD rom. Then you will need to use either your restore cd or the XP operating system cd. You shoud see something like press any key to boot to cd. then press any key. Also did you try constantly pressing the f8 during startup to get to the safe mode option. email me at chrisd883@yahoo.com
Anytime I get the bsod, I always open it back up in Normal mode.. It will restart, telling me that windows shut down unexpectantly... and I go on from there.
