word art, text box properties
First you go to the insert picture on the top menu and insert the picture that you want in the document. Then, click on the picture to select it, then go on the top menu where it says format and select picture from the drop down menu. Format picture box appear, select layout tab, then choose square in wrapping style and choose left in the horizontal aligment option. The text will go around the picture but you have different options there so you can play around and see which one is best for your layout.
Once you have placed your picture into your document, do right-click on the picture and choose 'Format Picture'

That should pop-up a dialog box for you. Select the tab called 'Layouts'. Once there, choose the 'Square' or 'Tight' layouts, and OK. (You can select your alignment also - choose something like left)

Now you should be able to write around the picture.
Right click on the picture, then click ''Format Picture''. Then in the box that appears, click on the ''Layout'' tab at the top, then choose the ''wrapping style'' you want. You will want either ''square'' or ''tight''.
