Microsoft wireless mouse stops working???

I have a wireless mouse from microsoft with the tilt wheel. So im surfing the net and all the sudden the red l.e.d stays on solid and i move it around and the arrow on the screen doesnt move......I unplugged it then replugged it nothing, i reset both the mouse and the adapter nothing wut could it be?

Sounds most definetely like a battery problem.

Change the batteries. If you are far away it will not work anyway. You only have a few feet of range with this type of equipment. If you get the chance, try a blue tooth mouse. It will work almost anywhere in your house, unless you are rich and have a gigantic house.
Put batteries in it
I had this problem also, but I knew what was happenning.

When you leave the wireless device for alogn time, it automatically goes off, Once you come back and wont to turn it on, just click the mouse button.

Just like that.

If you are sure the battey is ok (Like I was), just click on mouse and all will return to work.
